A small note about nicknames for powerful figures and filters:
I do this all the time. I do it because where I come from, and where my closest relatives still reside, making a negative comment about powerful individuals can be a reason for you and your family to get on some lists and get in deep trouble. Using a different name helps stay off searches and allows me to still be able to say things.
I'm sorry about filters, and I know where people are coming from, but sadly it's a genuine concern.

I am an extremely picky rice eater and I have tried to find kinds that I like for many years so finding one that simply works in a rice cooker without giving me texture issues gives me so much joy.
(Please don’t recommend me long grain rice, I know about basmati and jasmine rice, and I know how popular they are, but I just can’t eat them 😭)

I got some fancy Japanese rice from an upscale supermarket over Christmas, but I just tried it today. And oh my God, even though I only put it in the rice cooker, it is the creamiest rice ever. I am now forever spoiled. I cannot accept regular supermarket sushi rice anymore.

My mom’s extremely old phone just gave up the ghost. Three of us are trying to figure it out but it sounds like a hardware failure. And of course my mom has no backups, doesn’t know her Apple ID password, anything.
This will be a long, long night.
(She is really attached to that phone and has resisted any attempt to get her a new one for years — I’m sure the death of the phone was of natural causes, but she’s insistent she wants it fixed and she has so much data on it…)
