@actuallyautistic Is anyone else watching “The Pitt” on (HBO) Max? It’s a new medical drama; the gimmick is that it’s being told in real time over a single shift, hour by hour.

But what’s caught my eye is an apparently #autistic character named Dr. King. We don’t know much about her yet, but it’s nice to see an autistic tv character who isn’t severe. Instead, King just has trouble getting jokes, overanalyzes her own emotions, and stims under stress.

It wasn’t that long ago when most of the fandom ridiculed Action Masters as the only official #Transformers that didn’t transform.

Today Hasbro just keeps licensing their characters out to third parties that make modern versions of Action Masters, and fans are gobbling them up.

Is it just the price? Do fans simply prefer buying $6 Blokees over $25 Deluxe transforming toys? I’m not hating, I just don’t get the appeal.

Major holidays like #Christmas are a bit weird for @actuallyautistic folks, aren’t they? Because we like routine and consistency, and big family holidays are usually anything but.

Maybe that’s why I like walking my dog every morning after her breakfast. Even today, she expects the same thing she has every day, and no one else is awake yet in the house. It’s just the two of us, enjoying a nice quiet Christmas morning before the snow all melts away.

Saw the complete TV series #PersonOfInterest go on sale this morning and jumped on it. Dramatic elements aside, that show has a special place in my heart for being one of the few mainstream programs where the computer UI actually looks realistic.

When we brought our Tabasco pepper plants inside this fall, it didn’t take long to see the aphids all over the leaves. We tried a (non-toxic) spray but they kept reappearing.

Then one day I noticed a ladybug trapped in our house trying to get out a closed window, and it occurred to me there was an easier way to solve the pest problem.

Two ladybugs are now relocated to our plants, and seem to be very happy munching up the aphids for us.

I’m happy for the Yankees, and the Dodgers, and all their fans. But let’s face it: Watching the two biggest teams BY FAR in all of #MLB #baseball slug it out for the #WorldSeries crown is gonna be kinda boring for everyone else. Gimme a good underdog story every time.

Just finished re-watching #TransformersOne at my local theater… take it from me, this movie looks REALLY good in 3D. Well worth the upgrade.

Oh, and the “critics” who’ve said this movie has “Saturday-morning-cartoon level animation” either watched the entire film from the back row of the theater or they just don’t know what they’re talking about.
