@actuallyautistic Is anyone else watching “The Pitt” on (HBO) Max? It’s a new medical drama; the gimmick is that it’s being told in real time over a single shift, hour by hour.
But what’s caught my eye is an apparently #autistic character named Dr. King. We don’t know much about her yet, but it’s nice to see an autistic tv character who isn’t severe. Instead, King just has trouble getting jokes, overanalyzes her own emotions, and stims under stress.

@actuallyautistic Oh, and King gets really tense when a patient’s mom suggests that a THC gummy might give her four-year-old #autism. It was nice to see pushback on that kind of nonsense, too. #ThePitt
