Can someone please explain how I look like I work at Costco? Got stopped twice by instacart shoppers showing me an item on their phone with the clear expectation that I tell them where to find it. #yallmasking #MaskUpMonday

I was at a masked meetup in Golden Gate Park today, enjoying the company of fellow #CovidIsNotOver peeps. There's a discord server that we use to coordinate, and it's usually just an informal hang. We're not completely off the beaten path, but let's just say parking isn't a problem.
Guy (properly masked) walks up to us and asks us if we're a #CovidConsious group. He'd never heard of us, and thought he and his wife were the only ones.
Visibility matters, y'all.

I have the absolute pettiest criteria for which #GodotEngine YouTube channels I watch.
If they pronounce it "go dot," they need to be S Tier or I'm turning it off.
I haven't even looked up how it's officially pronounced. It'll always be like somebody I'm waiting for, as far as I'm concerned.
Must be a sensory thing. Every time I hear it "wrong," the next sentence or two just sounds like static as my brain tries to correct it.

Hey @deviantollam , found this hiking around the SF Bay Area, thought you might find it interesting (though I'm sure you've seen setups like this before). Took me a little while to figure out how it worked, then I just thought it was ingenious.

Okay, let's see if the Fediverse can answer this. I'm using #Csharp with #godot and need to wrap a scene "foo" in a class that creates multiple copies of it, then intercepts any method calls to "foo" and applies them to each copy. From outside the class, there should appear to only be one "foo," but in reality there are several.
I think I know how I'd do it in python or ruby, but it involves a lot of metaprogramming. Can this be done in C#?

Theory proposed by my D&D group: birds of prey look epic of a photograph contains zero or one eye. If the photo contains both eyes of the same bird, it looks derpy AF.

Sometimes, the natural order to put photos in isn't the order in which they were taken. I like this story better.

@tdf Just a reminder that tech-bro opt-out culture is alive and well.
"Oh, nothing says we can't take this content and sell ads on it, so we're going to" is a bit too close to "well, she hasn't said I can't grab her ass, so I'm going to" for my taste.

Just got followed by @tdf. It looks like they're an aggregator selling ads on content posted on the Fediverse, among other places. Since I live in CA, I'm really looking forward to seeing how "do not sell my information" interacts with this particular business model.

Body: hey, you're getting older, maybe start taking it a bit easy, don't try to do the shit you did as a young man.
Me: stands at a beach for two hours taking pictures of whales
Body: ... not like that. Now you will suffer.
