I've been spending a few days searching for a "self-hosted" alternative to a rather standard service, basically something I can easily put on the shared server of the very normal web host company where I have my own domain.
But everything I can find are over-the-top versions for expert users, that need docker/node.js/composer/etc to host on your own local server in your living room.
Have we totally lost the middle-ground, something simple, just php/mysql-based that can be deployed anywhere? π

I was going to break my head to try to retro-engineer some tooltip data + display inside the custom editor for my #godot game... and then I remembered there is a "tooltip_text" property on all the Control nodes in #godotengine...
Instead of having to create a custom tooltip system, all I had to do was to set a text property!
5 min instead of 5 hours. Love it! π π

I hate it when some gamedev friends are like "that game is half off/free today on whateverplatform, get it!", when they're talking about a small indie studio's first game, that is pretty good and deserves all our attention and money so they can survive and make another game.
