Need some advice:
I'm looking for an open source text-to-speech library I can run locally or in a server. I needs to be pretty pleasant to listen to even if generation takes a bit longer. Ideally #python as the language but I'm open to looking around.
Recommendations? Found StyleTTS2 so far.

Introducing @talkpython "Episode Deep Dives"
I am personally enjoying all the episode details, tools, and back stories revealed. Even I as the host forget everything we've covered.
They take some effort to create, so please let me know if you enjoy them.
Try it at https://talkpython.fm/485 #python

Wow: ChatGPT's "read this response" to me feature (the little audio icon next to 👍 👎) has plosives (the hard p mic sounds) in the AI generated voice. Weird and annoying but interesting choice.

Just updated @talkpython and @pythonbytes's websites to be more content type aware. If you're on an episode page such as
/episodes/show/415/just-put-the-fries-in-the-bag-bro
You can just append .jpg, .vtt, and .mp3 to get that content instead. cc @brianokken #python

I got tired of sitting behind all the recording equipment and set up a second desk looking out at the trees. It's surprisingly delightful to have options during the day. :)

I’ve been trying the very interesting @zenbrowser for a week now. I believe this is my new browser after years of using and loving Vivaldi. I’ll talk more about it tomorrow on @pythonbytes.
One feature dear @zenbrowser team, it would really be great if it came with built in ad blocking that removed the empty spaces where ads used to be. I have to use extensions for this where in Vivaldi that wasn’t necessary.

Hey team #python. I'm looking for some feedback / practical experience from you all.
Hetzner Cloud
https://www.hetzner.com/cloud/
Who’s using it? How reliable is it in the US? Been at Digital Ocean since forever. Now that Hetzner is in the US, I can get double the server for 1/3th (!) the price.
Is it all sunshine and rainbows or are the reasons to stay away?
