Please understand that when Musk does a Nazi salute, he's only doing it to "trigger the libs" and to get the attention he so desperately craves.

So the correct response is not sincere outrage.

Great news that the ceasefire has started and that some of the hostages will soon be going home.

But have you noticed something about the way the corporate media frame all this to reinforce their narrative that Israel are the Good Guys and Gaza are the Bad Guys?

The Israeli hostages have names, photos, and stories.

The Palestinian hostages are called "prisoners". We are told nothing of their identities.

Properly good news that Israel have agreed to the ceasefire deal.

Some of the hostages will be going home, and the bombing will stop in Gaza. We don't get much good news from that region, so let's celebrate it when we do.

Of course we're not out of the woods yet. The current deal only lasts for 6 weeks (if it even holds that long), and who knows what will happen after that.

But for now, definitely good news.

It is tragic that the Western powers have given Ukraine only enough support to keep prolonging the war, and not the meaningful support they needed to kick Putin right out of their country.

I'm pleased to see that the FDA are warning people that homeopathic products are never FDA-approved and may sometimes be harmful, but a little disappointed that they didn't mention in the article that the whole premise of homeopathy is total bollocks

This seems sensible. BMI is a useful measure, but it's very far from perfect. If a new definition of obesity can improve on it, then that would be welcome.

I just hope someone is monitoring whether the new measure actually does improve on BMI. Would be a shame to introduce a more complex measure if it doesn't actually do what it's supposed to.
