Today's #Parkrun was 59 seconds faster than last week's. Last week I "ran" the whole 5k. This week I walked a couple of short sections. So, that proves it: Walking is faster than running!

My "grab a quick coffee at Morrisons" has turned into an All Day Veggie Breakfast and 2 coffee refills.

Does anyone here occasionally, and shockingly, realise that they have a skeleton inside them?

I have a sore hip and somebody asked me if I thought it was where my femur moved in the socket. I suddenly got a mental picture of a skeleton and realised that I've got loads of bones inside me! Weird!

Well, that's today's random thought. Thanks brain. 💀 🦴 🧠

Last week, a friend recommended I watch Ludwig. I'd heard the blanket coverage of adverts on Radio 4 but I don't pay attention to what's on the TV.

I've watched two episodes now. The first one was a little "cringe" for me as it's setting the scene and establishing the characters. The premise that someone is pretending to be his twin is far-fetched and I kept having to suspend my incredulity.

I nearly didn't watch episode 2 as I thought "Yep, I've got the idea. No need to watch the rest", but I told myself that watching something "made up" rather than always grasping for more facts is a good thing.

There are some funny lines and I suppose I am genuinely interested to see how it pans out. No spoilers, please!

That was a great #Parkrun. For the first time since before the pandemic I managed to jog the whole 5km without any walking. 😊

My time was slightly slower than my last walk/jog but I'm well chuffed. 😃

I've decided to sit inside for my toast and coffee, though. It's a bit parky out there.

Goodbye fence panel number 2. That bodged brace I added to stop it flexing in the wind has now met its match.

My deeds say that my (back) neighbour is responsible for that fence but I may just sort it myself. £60 for 2 panels and no need to enter protracted discussions with people I have generally found to be half-witted! (I remember the tree-felling H&S disaster zone! 😱)

So far only one panel has blown out of the greenhouse.

I know others are facing far worse. Stay safe.

I adopted a kitten in my dream last night. A lovely silver tabby. I wish I could remember his name now.

I think my brain must've been reflecting on when my family did adopt a kitten. We found him in Tesco carpark; most probably abandoned.

Our cat had died the week before so Dad, my brother and I took him home and asked Mum if we could look after him until his owner came forward but they never did so he was our cat forever.

We called him Scot E.

No #Parkrun for me today. 😞

My knee is really sore. It started hurting yesterday after my 10 mile walk. Yes, just a walk. I'm wondering whether I twisted it while slipping in the mud? 🤔

I'm disappointed. ☹️
