Last week, a friend recommended I watch Ludwig. I'd heard the blanket coverage of adverts on Radio 4 but I don't pay attention to what's on the TV.
I've watched two episodes now. The first one was a little "cringe" for me as it's setting the scene and establishing the characters. The premise that someone is pretending to be his twin is far-fetched and I kept having to suspend my incredulity.
I nearly didn't watch episode 2 as I thought "Yep, I've got the idea. No need to watch the rest", but I told myself that watching something "made up" rather than always grasping for more facts is a good thing.
There are some funny lines and I suppose I am genuinely interested to see how it pans out. No spoilers, please!

@aroundthehills we enjoyed. It was very David Mitchell. Looking forward to series 2

@JoyceHumphreys @aroundthehills I've watched it. I'm not as impressed as others seem to be. It requires a lot of disbelief to be suspended. I found the ending disappointingish. Prob won't watch series 2. I think David Mitchell is fab on WILTY. & Anna Maxwell-Martin a great actor, but this production not as good as the peoole involved.

In the 2 episodes I have watched, there have been several times I've thought "Nobody would do that." - but it's just a bit of fun. I'm trying to encourage my brain to switch off occasionally!
