The thing that gets me about Musk's Nazi salute is the roar from the crowd.

There were lots of MAGA people in that arena who were delighted to see a Nazi salute.

(And it was a Nazi salute. Other Nazis recognized it and approved of it, and German newspapers couldn't legally post pictures of it.)

Remember, our strength lies in two things: numbers and courage. There are more of us than there are of them. And we must have the courage to call them out.

I know there are places much colder than this, but it was -18°C when I took the dogs out this morning. Our largest dog is okay with it. I have to be very careful with the two smaller ones because the cold hurts their paws.

I don't know what people who live in much colder places do when they have small dogs. I guess they must have dog boots or something.

I've ordered some leggings for our smallest pup, Luna, but of course they won't arrive until it's warmed up again (i.e. -9°C).

The first day of the Felon's governance was pretty much as expected. Forewarned is forearmed: no need to be shocked. Musk's Nazi salute was very clearly a Nazi salute. That was shocking. If even the Anti-Defamation League comes to his support, we can expect that the Felon's cabinet and party will rally around him. So we may be seeing more of that, unless that was just Musk getting something out of his system.

A friend today said that there's going to be so much going on she won't know what to be outraged about.

I suggested not being outraged by any of it. Outrage is going to be exhausting and unsustainable. It's letting the Felon live rent-free in your head.

Know that what he does is wrong. Do whatever you can to oppose his agenda, and above all stay focused on the mid-terms, and work for a Dem victory. But avoid outrage. Outrage won't give you energy; it'll waste your energy.
