A friend today said that there's going to be so much going on she won't know what to be outraged about.
I suggested not being outraged by any of it. Outrage is going to be exhausting and unsustainable. It's letting the Felon live rent-free in your head.
Know that what he does is wrong. Do whatever you can to oppose his agenda, and above all stay focused on the mid-terms, and work for a Dem victory. But avoid outrage. Outrage won't give you energy; it'll waste your energy.

@jayalane I talked about outrage rather than anger. But, yes, anger can be useful if we employ its energy wisely. But we can't constantly live in outrage or anger every day without harming ourselves and others. And it's also possible to take compassionate action without being outraged.
