My OC Rebecca. Her eyes do canonically glow when a light is shone onto them like an animal (she’s a wraith). She also isn’t that big lol I wanted to work with something surreal/dreamcore/weirdcore. I do love these aesthetics!

A video process of the digital painting I posted just before. The reason we see Neptune being drawn for a while is because originally, I was gonna have Neptune in the background but it turns out it didn’t work well with the composition so I went with something more ominous.

While Angela is generally in a more victorian setting, there is also a scifi verse and this is how she looks in that verse which is probably my favorite if I'm honest! Also those trees aren’t palm trees: can you guess what they are? Here’s a clue: your day will be ruined if you see one. 👹

There’s a whole story behind this but I’ll run out of characters :catroll:

So instead I’m gonna focus on the fact that I’ve been trying to work with more liminal and dreamcore like aesthetic for my pieces. I like how this turned out, because it looks very vast, yet also very small at the same time!

+t A friend's OC! Working a lot with light for that one! I still need a lot of practice but I really like where things are going!

Sometimes I feel like I wasted a lot of time because I wasn't advised well in my youth when I got serious about art. Using references was frowned upon (especially online ). l've broken that mold and use reference like crazy now. Drawing without is possible, but for me this is how I learn the fastest.

l've said it before, and I'll say it again: I LOVE putting my original characters in different universes/ alternative universes (usually called verse or au). In this case, what if one of my characters — Angela — ended up in the Squid Game Universe? Her number is 444 because it's an angel number. Yes I'm super corny and I am proud to be :P

I love re-drawing old pieces and see the progress, especially for how stagnant I can sometimes feel. Three times the same image, the most recent finished last week (2024). I decided to change the angle this time and updated Johnny in the back ;)
