Logging in to check my bill, but it's just spinning. The #Xfinity website doesn't like some combination of these things:
• Firefox
• uBlock Origin
• Privacy Badger
• Cosmic radiation
• Bananas
• The color mauve
• Me, personally
Could be more things, but I don't think I'll be checking my bill today. Good thing it's autopay.
Could I disable plugins and try a different browser from a dark lead-lined room? Sure, but for an Internet provider, #Comcast sure can't Internet very well.

A few of my favorite things. My cat. Coffee. My Scrabble tile coffee mug. And our Peloton.
While I don't love the Peloton. I need it. It is vital for my mental health as well as my physical health.

Weather permitting, I plan to watch the lunar #eclipse March 13th 9pm PDT from a rural location.
For the #camera and digital #slr folks out there, how can I photograph the eclipse? I have a #Canon Rebel T3. The lens is an image stabilizer.
If anyone knows what aperture, iso, and fstop settings I should try to get a good picture, I'd be greatly appreciative. Thank you!

[#]Google Docs and #Opentype #Font features: I spent way too much time going down this rabbit trail, so I'm gonna talk about it.
Not supported.
[#]LibreOffice. Word. CSS. All support it. So why not GDocs? Fuck if I know why. Google is out to make everything suck just a little bit more each day, so it seems like that's a line item on their path to destroy the Internet.
Also, fuck Google for naming their product Docs. It broke their own Rod Damn internet search—it really broke their AI.

PSA for nail biters.
If you, like me, struggle to stop biting your fingernails, I suggest trying NAC (N-Acetylcysteine). It's a supplement that works to combat oxidative stress (as a psychiatrist explained to me).
And it works! At least, for me. I have chronically bitten my nails since before I formed memories and only now in my late 40s do I have fingernails.
It took some time to find the right amount, but I just ramped up until I didn't bite my nails anymore.

The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom is a good game. It's old-skool enough for me, and lore heavy for my son. We both are enjoying it. #nintendo #zelda #EchoesOfWisdom

@toddo @celesteh How does the counting of the days of Hanukkah work? If the first day began Dec 25 at sunset, is 1:30 pm on the 26 still the first day? And do the names have days? Thanks!

You don't have to agree with me, but as I was watching the #DoctorWho Xmas special tonight, it felt like England was colonizing the past—especially the thoughtless Bethelem scene in Act III. Ncuti Gatwa's impressive acting chops shouldn't have had to try to salvage this screenplay. Nicola Coughlan was wasted, too, and since her character explodes, it would be hard to get a do-over.

I's odd to me that a primarily children's entertainment company took this long to make a Star Wars that is fun for all ages. It's not like they don't have a braintrust the size of a planet to fall back on.
Probably the self-serious and highly toxic Star Wars fandom had something to do with it.
Those basement dwellers shat bricks over A Solo Story.

Skeleton Crew is a bunch of sheltered suburbanites lost in the Star Wars galaxy. And it takes itself exactly as seriously as that premise demands.

With it billions of dollars, Disney, and previously LucasFilm, were incapable of using their Star Wars IP into something fun, interesting, and exciting.
Everything since Jedi IMO has been either self-serious or ridiculously introspective.
Mandolorian came close to being fun—until it started taking itself seriously. Why?
