Normally, I'd just wait for better, but given the very literal attacks on trans rights and #transgender health care in the US, I'm honestly concerned that 2 years from now gender reassignment surgery will be illegal in the US, not coverable by insurance, or some other 🐄💩
So i'm probably going to go with "faster" for the most important surgery of my life. How fucked up is that?

Finally got on a call with someone about bottom surgery.
There are 2 doctors at the place i'm considering who both have great results/reviews.
My top choice requires 9-12 Months in order to get a consult, and then another 9-12 for surgery. So, 1.5-2 years total.
The other is 3-4 months for consult, and then 3-6 mo for surgery. So, 9 mo to 1 year.

Currently reading Sex at Dawn (a book about human sexuality in pre-agricultural societies) and I swear, the more I read, the more pissed off I get about how much capitalism, patriarchy, & mysogony, and egotistical 🐄💩 have absolutely fucked us.
tl;dr: #nonmonagmy was the norm. #monogamy is the direct result of men hoarding resources & treating women as property, which then got reinforced with social and religious narratives.

Queues for Gender Reassignment Surgery are on the order of 1-2 years in the US owing to the limited number of doctors who can perform it. If you want bottom surgery and you haven't done so already, get in a queue before they make it illegal.
Crossing the US border (especially re-entry) is now dangerous unless you already have a passport that matches your bits. And ugly "healing from surgery" bits are a kind-of obvious giveaway that they've changed.
The danger will only increase.

Related: Most US states allow you to change the gender on your birth certificate.
As far as I can tell Kansas, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Florida and Texas I think are the only states where you can't change your gender.
HOWEVER about half of those states require proof of gender reassignment surgery.
If you can change your birth cert. & haven't done so already, do it ASAP.

I get the anti-trans 🐄💩 stuff but I'm kinda 🤯 that they explicitly included mention of a document for supporting #intersex kids.
Yes they think being #transgender is a choice, but being intersex is 100% biological. I get that the existence of intersex people goes against their ideology but they literally exist and the sheer fucking cruelty to take away the almost non-existent help & guidance for them is ... just

All federal agencies must rescind all documents that discuss / include anything related to gender ideology AND the existence of #intersex people.
