Finally got on a call with someone about bottom surgery.

There are 2 doctors at the place i'm considering who both have great results/reviews.

My top choice requires 9-12 Months in order to get a consult, and then another 9-12 for surgery. So, 1.5-2 years total.

The other is 3-4 months for consult, and then 3-6 mo for surgery. So, 9 mo to 1 year.

Normally, I'd just wait for better, but given the very literal attacks on trans rights and #transgender health care in the US, I'm honestly concerned that 2 years from now gender reassignment surgery will be illegal in the US, not coverable by insurance, or some other 🐄💩

So i'm probably going to go with "faster" for the most important surgery of my life. How fucked up is that?
