"Back to the office", schallt der Ruf meines Firmen-Chefs. Das sei viel effizienter.

Währenddessen: die ersten drei "shared" Arbeitsplätze haben keine Maus und keine Tastatur. Es gibt keine Wassergläser im Schrank. Der Kollege im Büro mit mir telefoniert englisch, sodass mein Hirn ständig auf Englisch schaltet während ich was anderes tippe. Außerdem ist er hörbar verschnupft.

Über die inzwischen 150km Anreise schweige ich jetzt mal, wegziehen war meine Entscheidung.

@actuallyautistic I should probably improve my task priorisation and organisation, because a lot of the overwhelm comes from deciding what to do next when everyone pulls me into different directions. Thing is, executive functioning is not my best strength.

I realize now, 2.5 workdays into the year, that I'm already completely overstimulated by work. This is not sustainable. I've already been through a major burnout and depression episode two years ago, and I recognize the warning signals.

I'm not sure what to do, though. I've already reduced work hours, but the problem is one of work density, not duration.

The only thing that I can think of would be stepping down as teamlead, effectively ruining my career.

Nach nun etwa einer Woche Ferien beginnt das Prinzip "Hauptsache, Aufmerksamkeit! Egal, ob positiv oder negativ!" mir doch ganz schön auf den Keks zu gehen.

I left the leaves lying there in the hope that it brings some nutrients into the soil and maybe it'll help remove the grass and moss that's currently growing there. Does that make any sense?

[#]Gardening bubble, I need some tips. I'm thinking about creating a #wildflower #meadow with native plants in this part of the garden. Can I have some suggestions on what to prepare before sowing? Do I need to dig up the whole area? cover the area with fresh earth or #compost?

It's a pretty dark area: eastern side of the house, under a large gingko tree. The roots are close to the surface, so breaking up the whole soil will not be easy.

Anybody have experience with #antidepressant #ssri and how they play together with #melatonin?

I stopped taking melatonin for a few months, started again, slept better (more REM sleep) for a few days and am now crashing down hard with symptoms of #depression and #sensoryOverload. I feel existentially exhausted and overwhelmed by sadness.

Anybody have similar experiences?
