ordered a portable display advertised to me on instagram and… I really like it?

tl;dr a portable monitor with a magnetic stand that raises it to just behind your laptop screen for better ergonomics

google “espresso display”, I bought the cheapest one with some discount I was targeted with

we’ll see how it fares at work this week but so far I’m sold!

Seventh coffee shop of #52coffeeshopsin52weeks is Flying Cat on Division!

Finished PT nearby, then had a couple of hours to kill until meeting someone for coffee. Naturally, decided to get some coffee alone. 😂

So cute! Mismatched diner chairs. Giant sofas. Nondescript black to-go cups.

It’s not giving Palio the way Clinton Street does, but I still wish I’d gone to this place when I lived off Belmont, because all of the seating would have been great for my old coworking meetups!

I live in the pearl, which houses the streetcar depot for two of portland’s streetcar lines

and every morning, they release a bunch of them onto the rails in quick succession

…then you have to wait 49+ minutes for them to all circle back around to the neighborhood 😭

anyway accidentally slept in just long enough this morning that I missed the streetcar window

the woman ringing me up (the owner?) spoke in a whisper

all of the teas are in matching silver canisters so you can’t see them
