To that end: unfortunately on-call at work this week and don’t have much opportunity to bike around town. So, first week is just Barista in the Pearl!

They have had the same “seasonal” menu for a year now, and we love the horchata mocha in this house. Made with a blend of alternative milks, so good for everyone!
Big bike rack outside the Keen store and public seating right outside. We stan a slow street.

Second #52coffeeshopsin52weeks is All Your Heart in South Waterfront!
I ride down every month for Riley's grooming! I have always gone to Ovation. I thought it was the only coffee shop in the neighborhood. Didn’t realize there was another one a block away. 😅
Very cute, and much more my aesthetic! Got an almond milk mocha like I always do. Owner gave me some treats to go for when Riley was done getting his haircut. 💅

Third stop on #52coffeeshopsin52weeks is Clinton Street Coffeehouse!
I come here to work every time I visit my PT around the corner. It is cute and quintessentially Portland: lots of diet-restriction-friendly options, reusable cups, kitchen-style tables, and a giant pinboard in the back full of flyers for fun small businesses. On a major bike greenway, across the street from a big Biketown station
Closest I have found to Palio since they closed.

Fourth stop on #52coffeeshopsin52weeks is Sisters in the Pearl!
Went wandering around the neighborhood, trying to find a coffee shop without a ridiculously long line. Ordered a ham and cheese croissant with an almond milk mocha.
Couldn’t hear the music over the espresso machine, so no song for this visit! 💔

Fifth stop for #52coffeeshopsin52weeks is La Perlita, next to the yellow line stop on Killingsworth!
Place was pretty crowded, so I pre-gamed with a friend at Auntea Ha down the street. Then, I got a Mexican mocha and marranito to go!
No selfie at the café because I was busy talking. 😂🙏

Sixth stop for #52coffeeshopsin52weeks is Coffee Time on NW 21st!
Was on my way to Rudy’s for a haircut. Stopped to get a dark chocolate peppermint almond milk mocha. Immediately drank it and forgot to take a pic, because I am not a professional content creator.
Place was dark and I am not convinced there was music playing. 😂
Used to be open late but isn’t any longer. ☹️
We still like it tho. Vegan menu slaps!

Seventh coffee shop of #52coffeeshopsin52weeks is Flying Cat on Division!
Finished PT nearby, then had a couple of hours to kill until meeting someone for coffee. Naturally, decided to get some coffee alone. 😂
So cute! Mismatched diner chairs. Giant sofas. Nondescript black to-go cups.
It’s not giving Palio the way Clinton Street does, but I still wish I’d gone to this place when I lived off Belmont, because all of the seating would have been great for my old coworking meetups!

Eighth stop on #52coffeeshopsin52weeks is Saint Simon Coffee on Brazee!
I rarely visit NE so had never been here before! Stopped by to meet an old friend.
Music was top 40 pop, and I am basic, so I loved it. Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, the works. Cute seating outside. Best mocha of all the shops so far.
May never come again, because it’s not the closest in terms of public transit, but I am glad I visited once! 💞
