Let us remember the motto of the US before the red scare of the mid-20th century: e pluribus unum (out of many, one).

However the current administration may try to turn the US into a weird ass monoculture, what makes our country great is its incredible diversity, bringing together many people and many perspectives for a greater whole than the sum of its parts.

We don't have to let them redefine our country, even as they use the most powerful office of the land to try to do so.

Looking for people with experience using #Sleepio or other CBT for Insomnia #CBTi programs which involve #SleepRestriction

I am a few weeks into trying to stick to my sleep schedule properly and it's extremely challenging. I would love to talk to people who either are doing this now or have done it in the past.

Did you know that #JavaScript is trademarked and that #trademark is owned by #Oracle, even though they've had nothing substantial to do with the language... (checks notes) approximately ever?

Getting into #Java for web applications using #SpringBoot and #Android apps and I have to say: the tutorials and docs are way more opaque than trying to learn something new in #Python.

I don't know how much of this is the influence of #enterprise development practices on Java and how much of it is my relative lack of familiarity with Java compared to Python, but it is noticeably painful/annoying to consume Java-dev-oriented media.
