I run dozens of Linux services that I helped write, have been doing Internet since before one didn't have to explain what "email" is, I used to switch every year between major OS's so I subjectively understood the personal and professional obstacles they presented to people, I've even built hardware to control robots, and, like, I want to just buy a "high quality laptop computer that runs a major linux well" and that's still, in this the year one of our President for Life, not straightforward 🙃
