@zombywoof @annewalk I mean, conflict w/ Canada is stupid, from the perspective of the US, China, and Russia, just because of geography. None of the super powers does well, strategically, to have Canada fully controlled by any other. I'm pretty sure what America had was as close to full control as one could hope to achieve, because any attack by any super power will just result in galvanization of Canada with the other powers, and triangulation of new alliances. Trump's game plan is gonna be to try to starve us out, turn us on our leadership, and then take advantage of the ensuing chaos to seize power. As I've said before, over and over, Alberta is gonna be key here, for division, and D Smith showed up at the inauguration to kiss boot, so I really think we know where the UCP stands on this.
