Decided to reduce a chert pebble I picked up.
I gave up. It was going good but just couldn't knock off the thick knob of material. My poor fingers decided enough was enough. In the early 80s someone in our group said, "Start with a round pebble, end with a round blank". It wasn't round, but the edge was 4x thicker. #flintknapping #archaeology
