I've usually been suffering through TL full of Niemoller references, but today I spotted in the wild an Emma Goldman reference. So here's a bit about the only supposed quote of hers that most people have ever heard of.
Did Emma Goldman write "If I can't dance, I don't want to be part of your revolution?" No. That was a supposed paraphrase invented by Jack Prager, an anarchist printer, in 1973 for a series of T-shirts.
What she wrote was longer and more interesting.
