I don't really have a big bone to pick with romantasy. Fantasy romance has been chugging along as a subgenre for as long as I've been reading... I'm sure well before too. It's just having its moment right now. Weird to see people talking like it represents some kind of perversion of the genre.
Now LitRPG. I will be a jerk about that.
