@Libby_ what a devastating piece of news that must have been for your housemate. Sorry to hear. But you make a very important point there, people of every country think that - being different and better - they can risk a shift to the right in such a way that will afford only positives to them while avoiding the mistakes done in the past or by other countries... it's disheartening to watch.
