I'll for sure ignore you and switch to paying attention to screens when I get the sense that you've similarly switched from listening to ignoring what I say. That shit goes both ways.
I'm better at meditation than most so I can absolutely outlast you in screen deprivation, but the weaponized ignorance in conversation gets the silent treatment. Why would I waste my time talking or writing when you're just going to ignore it.
