I don’t think that GMO food is necessarily unhealthy for human consumption.
What makes it bad is that plants that can openly pollinate should not be considered intellectual property.
It isn’t sustainable, either. We need all plants and animals to have massive genetic diversity in order to find some that can survive climate change. GMO driven monoculture is an existential risk in the face of climate change.
