Women are under attack. Black people. Immigrants. Trans people. Workers. Etc.
Resistance along any of these axes benefits all of the targeted groups. It’s not zero-sum. If you are part of, or in solidarity with, any group in the administration’s cross-hairs, then please try to keep this in mind.
They want us to fear and panic and stop supporting each other. It’s very natural to respond to feelings of vulnerability by being less generous. But the more we hold each other up, the less vulnerable we actually are. The administration does not have the capacity to actively fight on all of the fronts they’ve opened up. Let’s make them regret their recklessness.
