I promise this isn't another sadpost.
I've written something that the ancients might call a “blog”; specifically about a #SwiftUI topic, using markdown, complete with code examples and what I hope can be interpreted as humor. I'm not giving it to my employer, and I don't want to use Medium or Substack to publish it.
I have a super simple website via https://carrd.co, and I can just make an equally barebones blog page and put it up there. But I know that I'd be making a minimum viable blogging engine (aka basically a static webpage with text) and I figure that if I want to do this more in the future that will quickly become a barrier for me.
Does anyone have any recommendations on other options I could use? Do you run or use a cheap, lightweigt blogging engine? (For context I pay $19/year for Carrd, and I'm not even using most of the features.)
Or do you work with a website that publishes Swift/iOS/programming tutorials and would be okay with hosting some guest/contributor content? Honestly that would probably be my ideal but I know that's a big ask.
