I'm really bad at asking for help, but I do need help and things are starting to look a bit bleak.
I am a chronically homeless disabled trans person and radical direct actionist. I've been homeless this time around for over 5 years and I currently live illegally in a storage unit in PDX. Right now I'm broke and can't cover the bill for february. It's about $200 and I only have until the 1st to pay in full before late fees start stacking up. Within a week of non-payment they will lock me out and start the process of selling my belongings.
Because it's not a legal residence I have zero protections against immediate eviction. I'm at risk of being back out in the elements as nighttime temps go below freezing and there's also forecasts of snow in the next few days. It's a dangerous time to be unsheltered.
People have told me I should say a little more about myself, so: I'm a physically disabled trans butch white person on the verge of middle age and I'm autistic, plural, and have been diagnosed with several "cluster b personality disorders". I'm a musician and vandal/street artist and I'm heavily involved in OTG actions and mutual aid here in PDX. In the last 12 months alone I have sourced tens of thousands of kn95 respirators and distro'd them freely to folks in need.
My fundraising goal right now is $200, after February 1st it will go up to $240 due to late fees. At this point anything helps, even a dollar or a boost. I'll update this post as I receive donations. Thank you for reading
