With so many fed workers being directed to return to their offices, I wonder whether the increased numbers of commuters will result in more drivers (and perhaps discourage people who might cycle) or lead to more office workers hopping on a bike to fetch lunch or run errands while in the city. Certainly the growth of protected bike lanes has to be helping.
