@inarticulatequilter What I like about the Daily Haiku Prompt is that it plays to both halves of the problem. It gives a roadmap for those of us who would never be able to get started without the help provided by the word of the day. And it gives us a pattern to follow by specifying Haiku form. But then it leaves us free to figure out where to go with it. There are endless possible ways to interpret the hint given by that word, and endless ways to combine seventeen syllables, so we must exercise our creative brain cells.
