@jeffjarvis Americans "by and large" never have experienced a social healthcare system (which, btw, has nothing to do with socialism). Obamacare is only a band-aid mitigating the worst effects of an entirely privatised and profit-driven healthcare system.
The US expats in the EU I know consider the US system broken and wish the US would have something at least similar to that, what they experienced here in Europe.
