Most of the whining I hear from people still thinking about switching from #nazi #fash #DTBO socmedia such as #xitter / #twitter, #instagram, #facebook to the #fediverse / #mastodon is basically this:
"WAAAAAAAH, I AM TOO LAZY TO DO SOCIAL MEDIA WITHOUT AN ALGORITHM HOLDING MY HAND, PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I SHOULD GO, AND WHAT I SHOULD SEE"
And, frankly, maybe we don't WANT those here.
