US consumer society is so wasteful. I’m trying to recycle a printer and I’ve spent hours trying to figure out how to do it. Websites don’t have info, recycling centers are open odd hours that change randomly and are run by shady people.
I know garbage collection is a racket/corruption. It’s just so infuriating.
In Germany any store that sells electronics has to take them for recycling. Regardless of manufacturer/time/date. Here, Best Buy doesn’t even take printers.
