James is definitely more Quintin Wilson than Jeremy Clarkson, and I don't think he'd mind me saying that at all. I absolutely say that as a compliment. He's a pleasing antidote to the laddy atmosphere seen elsewhere in the genre.
Well worth a watch if you're a car nerd with a conscience.
