Crippling billionaires, devastate their wealth. More than military effort, dismantling wealth is of utmost importance.

I certainly don't disagree with that strategy!

But I've also heard the point made that, in the event of an economic collapse, the billionaires + oligarchs will actually be ok . . . their assets are diverse.

My rough sense of the reasoning behind these self-destructive moves is that, in the event of economic collapse, it gives corporations an opportunity to buy up property and companies in the wreckage . . .
