I am very far from a AI/LLM hater. I am amazed by the technology ... But the business practices of the companies making it are amazing, too

"AI" is the new crypto. There are a few niche areas in which both backpropagation algorithms ("LLMs") and blockchain algorithms will be genuinely useful long term. But in both the AI and crypto bubbles, the business is a shell game, and the amazing technology is all parlour tricks.
