🤦 Spamhaus: That's ChatGPT, without question!

🙎 Deliverability Expert: Right?? Super obvious it's some "AI" tool!

🤦 Spamhaus: Is that what gets an account created? NO ONE ACTUALLY TALKS THAT WAY. 75% of what I do is decide if a ticket is BS or not - to me this would be a giant red flag.

🙎Deliverability Expert: Yes. I hate "shiny" words. They think fluff is professional, and it's furthest from the truth!

We had this exchange with a fairly well-known ESP after Spamhaus listed a shared /24 because of a flood of phishing emails that emanated from the whole range. It turned out that their new customer had managed to fool the "Know Your Customer" process by using a Language Learning Model (LLM).

Given the massive and unending spike in the use of LLMs like chatGPT in the email ecosystem, it's important to review your processes with it in mind.

No matter if a new customer has passed your IP check ✅, verified their domain ✅, added billing details ✅, has a working website ✅, or even shared test content with you ✅...this type of text here is a big red flag 🚩
