Thinking about how stupid it is that I have to let my TV boot from cold if I don't let it sleep, even without letting it connect to wifi at all, because the output is via a framebuffer in Linux which is how it can just save a frame to file to do content detection on HDMI inputs for serving ads.
I blocked it from server access when I did have it on wifi, only using the local control for turning on/off via Home Assistant, but thinking about it doing that is just...guh.
(At least this is my understanding of how Roku TVs do HDMI content detection.)
