Ugly but promising: I've managed to train my first little autoencoder with 'nn_lib', the machine learning library I'm writing entirely from scratch and which I'm currently integrating into G'MIC.
There's still a long way to go, but it's quite a milestone for me! And writing such a library is exciting and instructive (as well as quite inefficient, yes I know 😋 ).
No one can explain the pleasure and madness of writing things from scratch!
