I don't mind whenever folks vent per say, there's just two reoccurring complaints that I tend to not agree with, or just not take too seriously.
You see this a lot with discussions surrounding Soulsborne games, for example, where a game being hard is incorrectly framed as an accessibility issue.
There's a video by Drew Gooden about how "Ai is ruining the internet" and the "what is the point of all this?" section sums up my feelings perfectly. This doesn't just apply to art, but with life in general and anything that you want to learn.
The thing is, some people aren't smart enough to come up with real rebuttals for, say, why they think Tears of the Kingdom is the best Zelda game even though that's a completely valid opinion.
So rather than having to explain or come up with a real argument, it's just easier (and more fun for them) to invent a boogeyman and stomp down on that instead.
A good example of this is "the death of media literacy", which has just become a grown-up sounding way to call people you disagree with stupid and escalate it to a societal level.
