As people around me seem to be in the process of migrating social medias, or doing temporary strikes against Instagram and others, I've been wanting to do the same.
I finally deleted my twitter account, which I haven't used since Musk bought it and not sure why I held on to it for so long. My facebook has been since long ago deactivated until recently, when I started my citizenship application, and unfortunately facebook groups seem to be the only place to get any real information from other people who've done it (deleting the account as soon as I submit the paperwork). But instagram... that's a tough one! I do feel like I actually get some work proposals from the app, and we for sure recruit a lot of students for NØ School on there, so how to leave it? It's especially pertinent because, since I never had tiktok, I spend an insane amount of time watching dumb reels and feeling about as horrible as after eating junk food. Do people have suggestions? I've been hearing more and more about pixelfed, but is anyone really on there? And if so, on what instance?
