me: how do I edit this big section of the main page of the website
wordpress guy, very smart: you just go to some -> imaginary -> menu and then create a custom thing that doesn't exist and then change the template and then set the page to show that page with that template that doesn't exist that you can't edit
me: this is the main page of the theme, in all the screenshots, why is this not just a widget on the front page that I can edit?
