You can't actually trust people for whom nazis aren't visible.
There's too much pain and heartbreak contained in this understanding to unpack it, but it's true.
If you're a vulnerable person, be very wary of anyone near to you who at this stage still doesn't understand what's happening.
A percentage of the people who "didn't see the nazis coming" grow into nazis.
