• Beaumaris: found chippy in side street, ran back to car with chicken & chips, ate in car while it was shaken by storm

• Llandudno 2: stopped at Deganwy on the way for some inexplicable reason, sudden rain, got wet & miserable, sat in car then decided to go home

• Llandudno 3: unexpected downpour, new "kag in a bag" raincoats bought for everyone, still soaked & retreated to car
