Custom elements are cool, but they inherit all the problems of class-inheritance object orientation.
I wish there was also a mechanism to attach objects to HTML elements and have the browser take care of attaching and detaching them based on some property in the DOM, the same way it detects custom elements.
I'm thinking something like
