I wish there was some hope left, but I feel like the republicans are ending a board game by pulling out a machine gun, handing us a shovel and telling us to dig a hole.
And I feel like democrats are like, "ok, well I guess we better start digging. I don't see this in the rule book, but we're definitely going to protest this in court some day. So, how deep should we dig?"
