as a follow-up to this: do not trust or work with any media outlet or journalist who is not plainly referring to Musk's gestures as a Nazi salute or fascist salute, or similar. he made them with full knowledge and intent, and anyone who isn't clearly identifying them as fascist symbols is a quisling and will endanger you for their own survival.
