Once of my students said, unprompted "google is broken" and got wide agreement.
The combination of AI and the way social networks are jerking their users around like toys will push people. Five years ago I would have agreed that it's basically impossible to fight the tide of big social, big shopping et al.
Stuff like what tiktok just did? What X did? It shows no respect for their users. They can blame whoever they want but they are forgetting who makes their domains matter.
